Pizza shop owner physically assaults female employee in Khanewal

In a shocking incident, a female employee of a local pizza shop was physically assaulted by her boss in Punjab's Khanewal, it emerged on Monday.

According to the sources, the incident occurred on August 16 (Friday) at a restaurant after a minor dispute.

The distressing incident came to light after a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV0 footage went viral on social media.

In the footage, the suspect was seen misbehaving with the female employee, which prompted her to throw the computer to the ground.

The woman, who was stationed at an order-taking desk, was later slapped and thrashed by the owner of the pizza shop.

Another person, in the footage, could be seen resolving the issue and calming down the suspect but her efforts were in vain.

Following the incident, the woman left the shop but the suspect followed her and tried to attack her outside the eatery, as shown in the video.
