Powerful locals unleash dog on labourer’s daughter in Chishtian

Powerful local individuals in the Basti Sufian Wali area of Chishtian unleashed a dog on a labourer’s 6-year-old daughter, leaving her injured with severe bruises from the attack.

The victim’s father, Abdul Basit, hails from Chak Abdullah. His daughter was walking to her uncle’s home from the market when some influential locals intentionally released their pet dog on her.

The young girl, identified as Umm-e-Haram, sustained multiple injuries as the dog bit her in several places on her body.

While she was being attacked, locals rushed to her aid and immediately transferred her to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.

The police arrived at the scene and registered a first information report (FIR No 524/24) in the Saddar Police Station to investigate the incident at the request of Abdul Basit.

He named two men, Muhammad Younis and Muhammad Sabir, as the accused in the case.

When he approached the suspects to demand an explanation for the horrific attack on his daughter, the assailants showed no remorse.

Instead, they verbally abused and threatened to kill him, saying that he could take any action against them following the incident.
