Punjab Police arrested a TikToker for making inappropriate videos outside a girls' college in Multan. The suspect admitted his mistake and vowed not to repeat such actions in the future.
A photo of the TikToker with two female Punjab Police officers circulated online, showing him handcuffed while standing alongside them.
The suspect, identified as Haider Ali, recorded a TikTok video outside Government Grauate College for Women in Burewala, where he used disrespectful language toward female students and displayed an objectionable attitude.
His video quickly went viral on social media, prompting police action.
“All female students of degree college are my sisters,” the TikToker said after arrest.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan shared an update on X regarding Haider's arrest.
"Awash Haider Ali, who used negative and fabricated words about female students outside Girls' College Burewala and went viral on social media, has been arrested," the post read.
In 2024, the Punjab government established a Virtual Women's Police Station at the provincial level to address crimes against women, including harassment, domestic violence, and disputes.
However, hundreds of complaints from Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, and Gujranwala remain unresolved.

Authorities emphasise registering FIRs for all complaints lodged at the police station. However, a recent report raised concerns that filing cases over minor domestic disputes, which could be resolved through mediation councils and reconciliation committees, is increasing the legal and financial burden on defendants.
