KARACHI: All suspects have been conditionally freed from police custody in the seven-year-old Sarim kidnapping and murder case.
The investigation into the murder of a seven-year-old boy Sarim, who was found dead in a water tank 11 days after he went missing from North Karachi, yet to find any clue in the murder case despite the passage of 50 days.
DIG West stated that the evidence, circumstances, and events do not align with the post-mortem report, which suggests that Sarim was murdered five days after his abduction.
To bring the case to a logical conclusion, forensic experts will be consulted, and senior police officials have requested the formation of a forensic board on the orders of the IG Sindh.
Meanwhile, all individuals detained in connection with the case have been released on the condition that they do not leave the city, according to Irfan Baloch.
