Sindh govt announces public holidays on December 25 and 26 for Christmas

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on 26 December for the Christian community in connection with Christmas, in addition to the holiday on 25 December.
According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, the Sindh government has declared 26 December 2025 as a public holiday exclusively for the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.
The notification states that all government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed on this day, except for departments providing essential services.
Separately, the Sindh government has also issued a notification declaring 25 December a public holiday on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, which will be observed by all government and semi-government offices, as well as corporations and local councils operating under the Sindh government.
