A girl aged 3 was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Baldia Ittehad Town, on Thursday.

Rescue official identified the girl as Aasia. Her uncle stated that the family is unsure of how the accident took place. The police were informed of the accident, by the hospital, where the body was taken to. An investigation is underway to determine sequence of events regarding the accident. The family took the body home after completion of legal formalities.

In another incident, that took place near the Sohrab Goth bridge, a man lost his life after being hit by an unidentified on Thursday night. A Chhipa ambulance arrived on the scene and took the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police claimed that the victim’s face was unrecognizable and the rest of the body was crushed, making identification and biometric verification impossible. After completing legal formalities, the body was moved to the hospital morgue.

Another horrific incident took place near Continental Bakery, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, where a motorcyclist was killed after being struck by an unknown vehicle, late Thursday night. The body was then shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The victim was identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Sarfraz, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

On early Friday morning near the customs check post in Raees Goth, Baldia Town, a dumper collided with a car, killing the driver in the car immediately. The body was taken to Civil Hospital. Police identified the deceased as Ziaullah, son of Muhammad Niaz, a resident of Hub Chowki.

Police have started investigations into all four incidents and are searching for the vehicles involved in the tragic accident cases.
