Video of Gojra student being beaten by teacher goes viral

A govt college teacher meted out harsh physical punishment on a student at the Government Degree College located in Gojra city of Punjab.

The video of the brutal incident went viral on social media, drawing criticism from netizens.

In the horrifying video, a teacher can be seen thrashing a student, who was wearing a bag on his shoulders.

As per the chilling video, the suspect pushed a victim on the ground by slapping him.

The teacher, in the video, could also be witnessed slapping and kicking the boy, who kept trying to get up.

However, the further details of the incident are not confirmed yet.

In a separate incident that occurred on March 9 a ninth-grade student died after he suffered a spinal cord injury due to alleged torture by a school teacher in Sargodha.

The student, identified as Samiullah, was severely beaten with a stick by his teacher for not remembering a lesson. 

The victim, during medical assistance, succumbed to his injuries, at Allied Hospital in Faisalabad.
