People of Hyderabad's Noorani Basti were overjoyed as the HESCO authorities reached their area to replace the out-of-order transformer after four days.

Loadshedding has irked people across Pakistan especially in the ongoing hot weather and people use to get happy over the restoration of light.

In a viral video, people can be seen dancing in the night after HESCO vehicle arrived in their area to replace the transformer after a power disruption of four days.

The electricity shortfall in Pakistan has crossed 5,000 megawatts, causing extensive power outages nationwide. The current electricity demand is 26,000 megawatts, while production stands at 19,929 megawatts.

Due to this significant shortfall, load shedding is occurring for up to 8 hours in various regions. In areas with higher line losses, the load shedding duration extends to 12 to 14 hours.
