Water tanker falls into nullah in Karachi's Korangi

A water tanker fell into a rainwater drain due to a mechanical fault in Karachi’s Korangi Industrial Area, according to police.

Police stated that the tanker collided with the pavement and fell into the drain because of the absence of a protective wall. Immediately after the incident, local residents helped rescue the driver from the affected tanker.

Heavy machinery has been called in to remove the water tanker from the drain.

Heavy traffic remains in question in Karachi as recent a number of deaths have bene reported involving tankers, dumpers and trailers.

The police have enforced several steps including trackers and timings but the issue remains the same.
