Woman caught stealing baby formula in Lahore

Lahore: In a shocking incident, a woman was arrested while her two accomplices managed to flee after stealing packaged milk and medicines from a pharmacy in Lahore’s Iqbal Town on Sunday.

The daring theft was caught on the store’s CCTV cameras, revealing how the three-person gang operated inside the pharmacy.

According to police sources, the suspects entered the shop pretending to be regular customers. While one of them distracted the salesman with inquiries about various products, the others discreetly stole valuable medicines and baby formula from the shelves.

As the theft unfolded, the pharmacy administration noticed the suspicious activity. Before all three could make their escape, the staff managed to detain the woman while her two male accomplices successfully fled the scene with the stolen items.

The administration immediately alerted the police, who arrived at the location and took the suspect into custody.

A case has been registered against the arrested woman, and a search operation is underway to track down the two other suspects.

Authorities believe the trio could be part of a larger gang involved in similar thefts targeting essential items, particularly baby formula and medicines, which have become increasingly expensive.
