Woman gang-raped by dacoits during robbery in Faisalabad

In yet another incident of sexual abuse, a woman was gang-raped by two dacoits during a robbery in Faisalabad, police said on Monday.

According to the law enforcers, the heinous incident occurred in Chak Geem Bai Samana area of the city.

Police said the bandits barged into the house of the victim woman on the night of August 7 with the intent to rob the home.

The muggers sexually assaulted the woman at gunpoint, police added.

After committing the crime, the robbers took away Rs70,000 cash and gold jewellery.

A case was registered against the suspect on the complaint of the victim woman.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are conducting raids to arrest the culprits.
