The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday unveiled the official schedule and venues for the Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28.
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi announced that the eight-nation tournament will be jointly hosted at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium.
The highly anticipated match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai, which will also host the tournament final on September 28. Should both teams advance from the group stage, they are expected to meet again in the Super Four round.
Abu Dhabi will host eight matches, including one Super Four game on September 23, while the rest of the tournament, including both Pakistan-India games and the final, will be held in Dubai.
Matches will begin at 6 PM Gulf Standard Time (GST), except for the September 15 fixture between UAE and Oman.
This year’s edition features eight teams divided into two groups. Group A consists of Pakistan, India, Oman, and the UAE, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
The tournament opens on September 9 with a Group B fixture between Afghanistan and Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi. Pakistan will launch their campaign against Oman on September 12, followed by their marquee match against India on September 14 and the final group game against hosts UAE on September 17.
