Pakistan’s premium batter Babar Azam has lost his mobile phone, stirring security concerns just days before the ICC Champions Trophy. 

Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam posted a story on his Instagram account to tell his followers about losing his phone. 

"I have lost my phone and contacts. Will get back to everyone as soon I find it."

The incident comes at a critical time as Pakistan prepares for the ICC Champions Trophy, set to begin shortly. 

The loss of his phone adds to the challenges facing the team, already dealing with injury concerns and squad adjustments ahead of the prestigious tournament.

Fans have rallied behind the star batsman, offering support and wishing him well for the upcoming matches.

On the other hand, preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy are in full swing. In this regard, a giant statue has been installed at the entrance of Gaddafi Stadium.

The 27 to 28-foot-high statue has been completed in 18 days, the statue is named Runner Man, the statue depicts the athlete in a running style, the weight of the statue made of iron is two tons.

Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, and Khushdil Shah have been reinstated to the squad as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the highly anticipated team for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 and the forthcoming tri-nation series, which will include Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.
