Azam took to Instagram to express his support, urging Nadeem to "bring home the glory" in the finals. Nadeem, the sole Pakistani athlete remaining in the competition, has the nation's hopes pinned on him to secure Pakistan's first Olympic gold medal in over three decades.

Nadeem's remarkable achievement came on August 6, when he hurled a staggering 86.59 meters at Stade de France, earning his spot in the finals.

In a heartfelt video message, the 27-year-old athlete credited his success to the prayers of his supporters, saying, "I'm grateful for the honor and blessings I've received, thanks to your prayers. As Nadeem prepares to compete in the finals on August 8 at 11:25 pm PST, he has appealed to the nation to keep praying for him, saying, "Your prayers have brought me this far, and I need them to deliver my best performance and win a medal for Pakistan."
