The International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to announce the Champions Trophy 2025 schedule on November 11.
An ICC team is anticipated to visit Lahore from November 10 to 12 to evaluate the preparations for the major event scheduled for February-March next year.
During the trip, a tournament-related event is expected to take place where the schedule and additional information will likely be revealed.
According to the preliminary schedule, Pakistan is set to be in Group A with India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B will include England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan.
However, India has yet to finalize their participation in the tournament in Pakistan and is still in discussions with their government, which will ultimately decide based on the strained political relations between the two nations.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to commence on February 19, with the opening match in Karachi, and the final is slated for March 9 in Lahore.
A reserve day is also planned for the final match on March 10. The entire tournament will consist of 15 matches played across three cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
