India set 176-run target as Pakistan chase in T20 World Cup

In a group match of the ICC T20 World Cup at Colombo, India have posted 175 runs for seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs, setting Pakistan a target of 176.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and elected to field. Notably, the captains of both teams did not shake hands at the toss.
India lost opener Abhishek Sharma for a duck in the very first over, bowled by Salman Ali Agha. Wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan scored a quick 77 off 40 balls before being bowled by Saim Ayub.
In the 15th over, Saim Ayub dismissed Tilak Varma for 25, and on the very next ball, Hardik Pandya was out without scoring. India’s fifth wicket fell at 159 when captain Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed for 32 by Usman Tariq. Other wickets included Dubey (27) and Axar Patel (0).
Pakistan’s bowling performance saw Saim Ayub take three wickets, while Usman Tariq, Shaheen Afridi, and Salman Ali Agha took one wicket each. One Indian batter was run out.
Pakistan’s playing XI remained unchanged, featuring Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and Usman Tariq.
India made two changes to their side, bringing in Abhishek Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav into the playing XI.
