Saba Rashid from Pakistan has set a world record in making the highest number of “figure of eight” rotations with nunchaku in one minute, the record was officially approved by The Guinness Book of World Records.

As per details of the record, Saba Rashid completed 138 figure-of-eight rotations in one minute, crossing the previous record of 120 rotations. She defeated India’s Kiran Uniyal, the previous record-holder in the same category.

Guinness World Records had recently opened this challenge under a new category on its official website. It has also published complete details of Saba’s record on the website and sent her an approval through an official email.

This is her second Guinness World Record for Pakistan. Prior to the current record, she had set a record in the elbow strike category, delivering 680 elbow strikes in three minutes beating India’s Kiran Uniyal and bringing international title to Pakistan.

Saba Rashid is the wife of Rashid Naseem, who is also a Guinness World Records holder. Moreover, Rashid Naseem’s daughter, Fatima, holds eight world records in the female category for Pakistan, while their son earned a world record for the country at the age of just six. Rashid Naseem’s father has also set several World Records for Pakistan.

Saba Rashid stated that since her family has a legacy in record-breaking, it inspired her to work hard and set a world record too. However, she pointed out, that despite earning a world record, no government official has given her any official recognition regarding it.
