New Zealand clinched the tri-nation ODI series title after defeating hosts Pakistan by five wickets at the National Bank Stadium.
The Blackcaps’ win was powered by a standout performance from Will O’Rourke, who took four wickets for 43 runs, along with half-centuries from Daryl Mitchell and Tom Latham.
Chasing a modest target of 243, New Zealand reached the mark in 45.2 overs. The innings began shakily as opener Will Young was dismissed for five in the second over, but Kane Williamson (34) and Devon Conway (48) steadied the ship with a crucial second-wicket partnership.
Later, Mitchell (57) and Latham (56) propelled the team forward, while Glenn Phillips finished the chase with an unbeaten 20 to secure the victory.

Pakistan, having opted to bat first, managed a total of 242 in 49.3 overs before being bowled out. Captain Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 46, and Salman Ali Agha contributed 45.
Although Tayyab Tahir (38) and Faheem Ashraf (22) added valuable runs, Pakistan struggled against New Zealand’s disciplined bowling attack. Michael Bracewell and Mitchell Santner each claimed two wickets to complement O’Rourke’s efforts.
Naseem Shah led Pakistan’s bowling with two wickets, but the strong batting display by New Zealand ensured a comfortable win, setting a positive tone ahead of their upcoming international fixtures.
