Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem to reach Pakistan on August 11

After making history by winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024, Arshad Nadeem is set to return to Pakistan from Paris on Saturday (tomorrow) at 10 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Arshad will arrive in Pakistan via Dubai, landing at 1 pm on August 11. He will be welcomed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport by the Provincial Minister of Sports and officials from the Sports Board.

According to sources, after arriving in Lahore, Arshad will take a celebratory tour of the city on a double-decker bus on the day following his arrival. He will be accompanied by officials from the Provincial Sports Board and other notable sports figures.

The deputy commissioner (DC) of Khanewal, Arshad’s hometown, announced that the district administration will give Arshad a grand welcome upon his return. “This is a significant achievement for Arshad Nadeem. He has brought immense pride to Pakistan in Paris,” the DC stated.

Meanwhile, celebrations are in full swing at the home of Olympian Arshad Nadeem. His former coach, Rasheed Ahmed Saqi, emphasized that Mian Channu is a region rich in talent.

He noted that if the younger generation focuses on sports beyond cricket, they can achieve even greater honors for the country.
