In a thrilling all-Pakistan final, Asim Khan emerged victorious at the Jones Creek Open Squash Championship, held in the US.

The championship, which was organised in the US state of Georgia, had a prize money of $12,000.

Pakistani sportsman defeated his countryman fellowman Ahsab Irfan with a score of 1-3.

Mr Khan, ranked World No. 73 and Pakistan's top player, made a remarkable comeback after losing the first game. 

The second-seeded Asim secured a win over the third-seeded Ahsab with a score of 11-7, 7-11, 4-11, and 4-11.

This victory is Asim Khan's third PSA title of the year and the 10th of his career, according to Geo News.

He had earlier won the Wild Card Challenger in Washington and the Squash Inspire Challenger in March this year.
