Palestine beat Pakistan to win West Asia Baseball championship

Palestine clinched the West Asia Baseball Championship title after defeating defending champions Pakistan 5-4 in a thrilling final held in Karaj, Iran.
The tightly contested match was tied 4-4 after nine innings, forcing an extra inning. Palestine capitalized in the 10th frame, scoring the decisive run to secure the victory and the championship.
Palestine had built a strong 4-0 lead by the third inning, but Pakistan responded with two runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Palestine added another in the bottom of the fifth to maintain a 5-2 edge. In the ninth, Pakistan mounted a comeback with two runs to tie the game, but fell short in extra innings.

Earlier, Iran secured third place by defeating India.
Pakistan had an impressive run to the final, winning all group-stage games and beating India 14-1 in the semifinal, but ultimately fell short in the title clash.
