Peshawar Zalmi defeat Multan Sultans to stay in PSL 10 playoff race

Peshawar Zalmi secured a crucial seven-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Monday, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
Chasing a modest target of 109, Zalmi reached 111/3 in just 13 overs, with Saim Ayub (49 off 33) and Paul Walter (38* off 20) leading the charge.
Multan Sultans, after opting to bat first, were bowled out for 108 in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope (23) and Tayyab Tahir (22) were the top scorers, but regular wickets hampered their innings.

Ahmed Daniyal (3/17) and Luke Wood (2/18) were the standout bowlers for Zalmi.
The win moves Zalmi closer to fourth-placed Lahore Qalandars in the standings, while Multan Sultans remain in the top four despite the loss.
