The Pakistan cricket team’s official jersey for the much-anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 was unveiled on Friday during a grand ceremony marking the inauguration of the newly-renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The official kit was revealed by Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the eight-team tournament, as the star-studded event kicked off in style.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally inaugurated the refurbished Gaddafi Stadium, which underwent extensive renovations in preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy, set to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

The event was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi, and other government and cricketing officials.

In his address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the workers responsible for the stadium's swift renovation, noting that their efforts should be acknowledged with a special trip to London.

He also commended the Pakistani cricket team for their outstanding performances ahead of the tournament, expressing confidence that they would make the nation proud in the Champions Trophy, particularly in their highly anticipated match against India in Dubai.

The prime minister expressed his delight over Pakistan hosting the prestigious ICC event for the first time in 29 years and assured that both the Punjab government and PCB would ensure comprehensive security arrangements to guarantee the event's smooth execution.
