Children forced to sit on 23rd floor's AC unit after quarrel between parents

In a shocking incident, a woman in China forced her two innocent children to sit on an air conditioner's outdoor unit on their 23rd-floor apartment after a heated argument with her husband. 

The disturbing scene was witnessed by neighbours of the couple, who lives in Luoyang, Henan Province.

The neighbours heard the children's cries and quickly recorded the incident on their mobile phones while alerting the authorities.

According to reports from the South China Morning Post, the children were left precariously perched outside the high-rise flat without any protective gear. 

The mother, who was fueled by anger, prevented the father from approaching the children, while her older brother attempted to console her.

Fortunately, the children were rescued safely with the assistance of a fire engine, thanks to the swift response of the local authorities and the timely intervention of concerned neighbours. 

According to the publication, the reason behind the quarrel between the couple remains unknown. 

Local authorities, including the Women and Children's Federation, are likely to review the case to ensure the well-being of the children, SCPM reported.
