A Palestinian man reunited with his mother after spending 33 years in Israeli prison. Diaa Al-Agha, who was arrested at the age of 17, finally returned home with grey hair and decades of hardship behind him.
According to reports, Al-Agha was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces for allegedly killing a Mossad intelligence officer. He was sentenced to 99 years of life imprisonment.
A poignant video circulating online shows Al-Agha being lifted by his loved ones, who carried him to his mother. Overwhelmed with emotion, she embraced her son tightly, kissing him after decades of separation.

The plight of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli captivity remains dire, with many spending decades behind bars without proper legal defense while enduring brutal torture.
Several captives recently released by Israel under a ceasefire agreement with Hamas bear horrific signs of torture and malnutrition, highlighting the harsh conditions they faced in detention.
On Thursday, Israel released 600 Palestinian prisoners, while Hamas handed over four bodies of Israeli detainees.
Among the freed prisoners were 22 minors and one woman. Of the 600 captives, 151 were serving life sentences, while 43 returned to East Jerusalem and the West Bank. However, 97 were sent into exile.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its military offensive in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli army killed 16-year-old Hamid Fadl Muwafi near the separation wall in Qalqilya.
Under the ongoing "Operation Iron Wall", at least 40,000 Palestinians have been forced to evacuate from four refugee camps, Tulkarm, Nur Shams, Jenin, and Far'a in northern West Bank.
This marks the first time in history that Palestinians have completely evacuated these camps, which were originally established in the 1950s during the Nakba.
