The once-thriving fields of Gaza, which normally burst with colorful crops and fruits at the start of summer, now lie barren and devastated due to Israeli bombings.

The aftermath of Israel's nine-month war on Gaza has left a dire humanitarian crisis, with 96% of the population facing food insecurity and 495,000 people at risk of starvation, according to a UN report.

Satellite images analysed by Al Jazeera's Sanad team revealed that 60 percent of Gaza's farmland has been damaged or destroyed by Israeli attacks.

The destruction stretches from north to south, with no area spared, according to the publication.

In Beit Lahiya, known for its strawberry industry, Israeli bulldozers have razed fields, reducing them to dirt.

The red gold industry had employed thousands of people before the Israeli atrocities.

Before and after satellite images showed the devastating impact of Israeli attacks on the once-fertile regions of Beit Lahiya.

The consequences of Israel's war crimes have been deadly, with at least 37,900 people killed and 87,000 injured in bombings, destroyed healthcare facilities, and starvation.
