The Saudi Ministry of Health has announced a significant 90% decrease in cases of heat exhaustion among pilgrims during the 1446 Hijri Hajj season, marking a major success compared to the previous year.
According to the ministry, this achievement is the result of coordinated efforts within the health sector, working in partnership with various government agencies to address health risks in a timely manner.
International media sources report that this progress aligns with the objectives of the "Health Sector Transformation Program" and the "Pilgrim Experience Program," both integral to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The initiatives aim to provide pilgrims with a safe and healthy environment in which to perform their religious rituals.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that this improvement stems from proactive precautionary measures, widespread health awareness campaigns, and strong inter-agency coordination.
These collective efforts successfully protected pilgrims from the adverse effects of heatwaves and heat strokes, allowing them to complete their religious duties in comfort and safety.
