At least 935 people were killed during Iran's 12-day conflict with Israel, Iranian state media reported Monday.

“During the 12-day war waged by the Zionist regime against our country, 935 martyrs have been identified so far,” Iranian judiciary spokesperson Asghar Jahangir was quoted as saying by the state-run IRNA news agency.

According to Jahangir, the casualties include 132 women and 38 children.

The war began on June 13, when Israel launched a large-scale bombing campaign targeting Iranian military facilities, nuclear infrastructure, and residential areas. The strikes killed several high-ranking military commanders and nuclear scientists.

In response, Iran launched multiple waves of missile and drone attacks that struck several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Haifa. Israeli officials reported 28 deaths from those retaliatory strikes.

Despite the ceasefire that came into effect on June 24, Iran has since expressed skepticism about Israel's commitment to maintaining the truce, citing what it called “serious doubts.”
