GAZA CITY: An Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City has killed 11 members of the same family, in what marks yet another deadly attack since the ceasefire came into effect.

According to Israeli claims, the targeted vehicle was crossing the so-called “Yellow Line,” which demarcates areas under Israeli military control.

Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera reported that Israel has killed 28 people since the enforcement of the ceasefire, raising further doubts about Tel Aviv’s commitment to the truce.

The Hamas movement has urged the United States and international mediators to pressure Israel into honoring the ceasefire agreement and halting its attacks.

The appeal came shortly after the Red Cross facilitated the return of the body of another Israeli captive.

Meanwhile, Palestinians in Gaza continue to suffer from severe shortages of food and water, as large-scale humanitarian aid convoys—demanded by the United Nations and the international community—remain obstructed by Israeli restrictions.

Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has resulted in 67,967 Palestinian deaths and 170,179 injuries.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks inside Israel left 1,139 people dead and nearly 200 taken hostage, triggering one of the deadliest conflicts in recent history.
