British broadcaster Piers Morgan left Israeli Ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, at a loss for words during a tense interview focused on Israel’s military actions in Gaza and the humanitarian toll of the conflict.
In a pointed exchange, Morgan asked, “How many Palestinian children have you killed?” prompting a moment of silence from Ambassador Hotovely, who responded, “I don’t have an answer to that question.”
Morgan further criticized Israel’s handling of the war, questioning the reliability of official figures. “Israeli officials claim to have killed 30,000 Hamas fighters, yet they offer no data on the number of children killed in Gaza,” he remarked.
He also condemned the Israeli government’s ongoing restriction of international media access to Gaza, raising concerns about transparency and press freedom during a conflict with high civilian casualties.
Morgan also strongly criticized the Israeli government’s continued ban on international media access to Gaza.

Addressing the ambassador's claim that the restrictions are in place for journalists' safety, Morgan responded sharply: “Miss Ambassador, please don’t treat us like idiots. We are not idiots.”
He argued that the media blackout is less about safety and more about suppressing facts on the ground. “Journalists are being blocked from entering Gaza to hide the reality of what's happening there,” Morgan asserted, raising concerns over transparency and freedom of the press amid mounting civilian casualties.
The interview has sparked widespread debate, with many praising Morgan for challenging narratives and demanding accountability in a war that has drawn global condemnation for its humanitarian impact.
