Sheikh Maher Al-Mu'aiqly will deliver the Hajj sermon at Masjid-e-Nimrah on the day of Arafat (today).

A day earlier, pilgrims marked the start of Hajj 1445 from the tent city of Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah.

Over 1.5 million Muslims have flocked to the Mount Arafat today, where they will offer Zuhar and Asar prayers together after Khutba-e-Hajj.

The day of Arafah, the ninth day of Zil Hajj, is considered the pinnacle of the grand holy pilgrimage.

At sunset, the pilgrims will depart Arafat for Muzdalifah, where they will perform Maghrib and Isha prayers.

Later, they will collect pebbles for the ritual of Rami al-Jamarat, the symbolic stoning of the devil ritual, which will be carried out in Mina on Sunday (tomorrow).

The pilgrims will then return to Makkah to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha and sacrifice their animals.

Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on June 17 (Monday) to mark the end of the Hajj and to commemorate Prophet Ibraham’s (AS) readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to Allah.
