Woman attacks Palestinian family in US

Texas: A disturbing incident of Islamophobia occurred involving a Palestinian family at a swimming pool in Euless, when a white woman attempted to drown two Palestinian children, sparking outrage and concern within the community.

According to reports, 42-year-old Elizabeth Wolfe attacked the children upon seeing their mother wearing a hijab.

The Palestinian mother, in an effort to protect her children, was subjected to further violence as Wolfe tore off her hijab and assaulted her.

The situation took a turn when an African-American man, present at the scene, intervened and rescued the Palestinian family from the attacker, as reported by American media.

In response to the attack motivated by religious hatred, the white woman was arrested by police. However, the Muslim community has expressed deep concern over the immediate release of the attacker and is demanding her re-arrest.

Mustafa, the father of the assaulted woman, held a press conference stating that his daughter and grandchildren are traumatized and living in fear. He called for justice and protection for his family.

Suleman Bhojani, a Pakistani-American member of the Texas Assembly, has vowed to provide all possible support to the affected family. Additionally, Sajid Tarar, the head of Muslims of America, condemned the incident and called for stronger measures against Islamophobia in Texas.
