A bank robbery attempt that initially sparked fear ended up making people laugh in South Korea.
According to international media reports, a man in the city of Busan attempted to rob a bank using a toy water gun but was caught before he could escape with any money.
The 30-year-old suspect, wearing a mask and carrying a bag, entered the bank, approached the cash counter, and ordered the staff and customers to lie on the ground while demanding that cash be placed into his bag.
A 53-year-old man played a key role in foiling the robbery by tackling the suspect, with others quickly joining in to subdue him.

Within two minutes of entering the bank, the suspect was captured, and the unfolding details turned the initial tension into amusement.
When police arrived and searched the suspect’s belongings, they discovered that the 'weapon' was actually a toy water gun with a dinosaur design.
Local police revealed that the suspect had been unemployed for five years and was facing financial difficulties. Notably, he had made no escape plan and did not have any means of fleeing the scene after the robbery attempt.
