Aima Baig leaves Pakistan for 'indefinite period' due to work

Renowned singer Aima Baig has left Pakistan for an indefinite period as she recently departed for Umrah. However, she clarified that her trip abroad is related to her professional work.

Taking to Instagram, Aima Baig shared pictures and videos from Dubai Airport, informing her followers that she is moving out of Pakistan for an extended period.

In her first story, the singer wrote, "May Allah accept my Umrah and keep me safe. Bye, Pakistan. For a while, I am going to miss my country since I am leaving for a certain period rather than just a week, two, or a month."

Aima felt disheartened about leaving Pakistan this time but expressed optimism that the trip would provide respite from stress and improve her mental well-being.

She also shared a picture of the plane window in her stories with the caption, "Even the clouds are crying that I am leaving for this long."

In another post, she apologised to those she couldn’t meet before her departure from Pakistan.

The Funkari singer addressed the questions she received about leaving Pakistan, clarifying that she is not leaving her country permanently. 

"Music is my passion, and I will continue making music. In fact, I am releasing my first original single album soon."

In another story, Aima explained, "I am definitely leaving Pakistan for a long period but this entire trip is related to my profession and work. Every artist has to travel from one country to another frequently, but this time, I am going to be out of the country for a bit longer."
