Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has expressed her disappointment with the viral culture in the country that has made people like Chahat Fateh Ali Khan overnight sensations.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's unique renditions of classic songs, such as the iconic "Bado Badi" originally sung by legendary singer Noor Jahan, have taken social media by storm.

However, the Udaari actress joined a growing list of Pakistani showbiz industry professionals who have spoken out against Khan's viral fame.

Recently, on comedian Tabish Hashmi's show "Hasna Mana Hai," Ms Ansari shared her thoughts on the matter.

"I feel sorry for the viral culture of Pakistan and the mentality of our people, who are making such things viral," the Mera Naseeb starlet said.

"This viral trend is beyond my understanding."

When asked about Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's rise to fame, she replied, "I have no words to say about what he and many others like him are becoming famous for."

Bushra Ansari expressed her distress over the exploitation of classic songs and music. 

"It hurts me to see how music is being openly disrespected.

"I do not tolerate the exploitation of popular songs and music of the past in this way," she concluded.
