YouTube star MrBeast ties the knot with Thea Booysen

YouTube star MrBeast has married fellow content creator Thea Booysen, the couple announced on Instagram.

The pair got engaged in December 2024 and tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family.

According to People magazine, the wedding took place at Richard Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. Around 70 guests attended the week-long celebration, which began on July 14.

Booysen wore a custom-made gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, wore a Ralph Lauren tuxedo.

Donaldson is the world's most-subscribed YouTuber, reaching 400 million subscribers in June 2025.

He launched his YouTube channel in 2012 and rose to global fame with large-scale challenge videos, charitable projects and high-budget productions. His philanthropic work has included funding cataract surgeries, cochlear implants and housing projects for homeless people in Jamaica.

Despite his success, Donaldson has also faced legal challenges. Last year, five anonymous contestants filed a lawsuit over his reality series Beast Games, alleging unpaid wages, unsafe working conditions and sexual harassment during production.
