Bushra Bibi advance to D-Chowk, rejecting govt's offer to protest at Sangjani

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters continued their advance toward D-Chowk, crossing the G-10 Sector in Islamabad despite heavy tear gas shelling and the deployment of Rangers.

The main PTI convoy, led by PTI founder Imran Khan's spouse Bushra Bibi, reached Sector G-11, nearing the red zone in the capital.

Despite PTI founder Imran Khan’s support for an alternative location for the protest, Bushra Bibi refused to accept.

Bushra Bibi said that some conspiratorial elements want to stop us at another location instead of D-Chowk. She maintained that Imran Khan asked her to go to D-Chowk in any case, adding that the workers are not happy with any negotiation decision less than D-Chowk.

As per sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has maintained complete silence on the negotiation issues, while PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has also not been able to make any decision.

According to PTI sources, the central leadership of PTI seems to be unable to determine the final location for the sit-in. No one in the central leadership is willing to take responsibility.
