Former Foreign Minister and PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated on Saturday that Pakistan exercised remarkable restraint for three days despite facing unprovoked and baseless Indian attacks.

Speaking to the state-owned media following the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, Bilawal emphasized that Islamabad's commitment to peace and responsible diplomacy had ultimately prevailed.

“Peace has won today,” said Bilawal. “We responded with dignity, not haste, and our composure sent a clear message to the international community.”

He underscored that the global community stood firmly with Pakistan’s stance, especially after India failed to provide any credible evidence linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam incident in Indian-occupied Kashmir — the pretext for New Delhi’s aggression.

Bilawal credited Pakistan’s principled diplomacy, credible military response, and transparent communication as key factors in rallying international support.

“Pakistan stood on the side of truth, and the world recognized it. India’s narrative collapsed under scrutiny,” he added.

He further stated that Pakistan’s patience was not a sign of weakness, but a reflection of national strength and diplomatic maturity.
