Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters expressed their anger at the slow movement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's vehicle while party workers faced heavy shelling and gunf!re during a large-scale security operation in Islamabad last night.

“Our people have died. We are asking Ali Amin Gandapur to step forward and lead us. He told us to march to D-Chowk, but he stopped his own car,” a visibly enraged PTI worker stated.

Another supporter added, “Ali Amin has been standing in front of Centaurus Mall since 3 am. The workers who are losing their lives, are they not someone’s family members?”

Former prime minister Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi, and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur reached KP Assembly Speaker’s residence, hours after their whereabouts had remained unknown.

Both leaders fled the capital during the security forces' crackdown on PTI protesters and spent the night at the Mansehra Circuit House. They were accompanied by National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub and KP Assembly Speaker Saleem Swati.

As per sources, as police operations intensified in Islamabad’s Blue Area, Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur were seen fleeing the D-Chowk area in the same vehicle.

While the exact direction they took remains unclear, police sources claimed their vehicle was diverted toward KP House, with an Islamabad Police squad in pursuit.

As leadership fled, protesters also abandoned their positions, leaving vehicles behind as they moved toward residential areas.
