CM laptop scheme 2025: Punjab govt issues merit list update

The grievance redressal process for the Punjab Chief Minister Laptop Scheme 2025 has officially concluded, according to the scheme's website.
A total of 93,441 students from public universities across the province submitted applications before the March 18, 2025 deadline.
The scheme aims to distribute 110,000 free laptops equipped with 13th Generation technology to eligible students. These include BS (1st and 2nd semester) students enrolled in public sector Higher Education Department (HED) colleges, public universities, and medical and dental colleges. Students from private institutions were not eligible to apply.

The laptop distribution initiative is part of the provincial government’s efforts to promote digital inclusion, enhance educational access, encourage skill development, and empower the youth economically.
With the closure of the grievance process, students now await the release of merit lists which will determine the recipients of the laptops. Applicants have been advised to log into their accounts to track the status of their applications and confirm merit list inclusion.
The official website of the CM Laptop Scheme stated: “The Grievance Redressal process is Closed now. Wait for the merit list to be displayed.”
