Imran Khan says he is ready to forgive everyone for country's sake

Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan said that he is ready to forgive everyone for what has happened to him in two years for the sake of the country.

The former prime minister's message was conveyed by PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Khan while talking to the media outside the Adiala jail.

"We told the PTI founder that dialogue is necessary, as the distance is widening. He agreed with us [on this]," said Gohar.

"PTI founder has said many times that I am ready to forgive what happened to me," Imran Khan's close aide added.

During the question-answer session, a journalist asked Gohar if PTI would hold negotiations at the request of the Supreme Court's order.

"The option given by the SC is also under consideration," he responded.

According to Gohar, Imran Khan has authorized him to initiate negotiations with Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai. 

The PTI chairman emphasised that negotiations are the only way forward and clarified that their offer should not be misinterpreted as a deal.

Notably, Imran Khan has previously expressed his willingness to engage in dialogue with all parties except PML-N, PPP and-MQM Pakistan.
