Karachi motorcyclist decapitated in horrific trailer crash

A motorcyclist lost his life in a horrific road accident near Zia Hospital in Karachi’s Clifton area on Wednesday.
The collision was so severe that the head of the victim was severed from his body upon impact with a speeding trailer, resulting in instant death.
According to the Chhipa Foundation, the body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities.
Police identified the deceased as 42-year-old Munir Ahmed. Following the incident, the trailer driver fled the scene. However, law enforcement officials impounded the vehicle and launched an investigation.
Station House Officer (SHO) Riaz Niazi confirmed that the absconding driver was traced and will be arrested soon.

In another fatal accident, a speeding bus hit a motorcycle rider and his wife near the Siemens Chowrangi in Karachi's Site area.
According to the police, the woman died on the spot, while the injured man succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Unfortunately, he could not be saved during treatment.
Police identified the deceased man as 55-year-old Jamil and the woman as 50-year-old Nighat, residents of Orangi Town Sector 11 1/2.
Following the accident, the police took action and arrested the bus driver, Ansar.
The bus and the motorcycle were also taken into police custody and moved to the police station.
