PTI worker Aneela thrashes PML-N’s Tahir Anjum in Lahore

A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker, Aneela alias Neeli Pari, assaulted Tahir Anjum, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) cultural wing and a comedian, in Lahore.

The incident took place outside the Punjab Assembly where PTI was holding a symbolic hunger strike to protest the incarceration of party founder Imran Khan.

According to reports, the PTI worker stopped Anjum’s vehicle outside the assembly and began to assault him.

In mobile footage, Aneela is seen slapping Tahir Anjum, who was then rescued by his party workers.

Pari claimed that Anjum was making videos against PTI founder Imran Khan at the behest of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Anjum stated that he was assaulted and his clothes were torn. He identified himself as an artist and a leader of the PML-N cultural wing.
