Alibaba, the Chinese-owned global B2B e-commerce platform, has rolled out specialized online logistics services designed to help Pakistani exporters streamline and enhance their international trade operations.

With cross-border e-commerce expanding rapidly, Pakistani small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly looking to tap into global markets. However, they often face logistical challenges that hinder efficient export operations.

Recognizing this, Alibaba aims to simplify the process by offering integrated logistics solutions that reduce both costs and delivery times.

To support these efforts, Alibaba has partnered with top-tier international express delivery providers, including CPEX. The collaboration will enable Pakistani products to reach over 200 countries and regions.

These services offer more than just fast and reliable shipping — they also cover the full logistics chain, from packaging and warehousing to final delivery.

Through its logistics network, Alibaba provides secure and timely transportation of goods, real-time order tracking, and expert customs advisory support. These features are designed to mitigate risks and help businesses boost their competitiveness in the global market.

“Online logistics services are vital for SMEs participating in international trade,” said Summer Gao, head of global supply chain at Alibaba.

“They not only cut costs and simplify operations but also empower businesses to scale globally with confidence.”

Gao added that Alibaba leverages advanced technologies and end-to-end logistics solutions to help Pakistani SMEs stay agile, meet global demand, and grow sustainably.

As Pakistan navigates a challenging path toward economic recovery, the government has emphasized the need to increase exports to drive trade and investment, essential for reviving its $350 billion economy.

Founded in 1999, Alibaba serves buyers and suppliers in over 200 countries and regions. The platform supports global commerce by helping businesses showcase their products, connect with suppliers, and place orders quickly and efficiently.

For Pakistani exporters, Alibaba’s new logistics services promise cost-effective shipping, enhanced tracking capabilities, and a fully digitalized fulfillment process. These benefits aim to make international trade more accessible and manageable.

“The introduction of Alibaba.com's logistics services has significantly sped up our transactions and strengthened customer trust,” said Zulqarnain Baryar, CEO of Clush Industries, a garment manufacturer.

“Detailed tracking and optimized shipping routes ensure timely deliveries and better risk management. These improvements have not only streamlined our operations but also opened doors to new global opportunities.”

Berry Ma, head of Alibaba’s Pakistan operations, emphasized that the new logistics offerings are designed to help local exporters break down traditional barriers in international trade.
