Services of social media platforms Facebook and Instagram have been restored across the globe on Tuesday night after being suspended for two hours.
Earlier, hundreds of people had reported that they could not access the platforms, according to Downdetector.com.
Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from several sources including user-submitted errors on its platform.
Users trying to access Facebook and Instagram in affected areas were greeted with the message: “Something went wrong. There's an issue and the page could not be loaded."
However, now the popular services are fully restored across the globe and users can access it without any disruption.
