Couple arrested for selling goats with artificial teeth in Karachi

A husband and his wife, who were selling sacrificial animals for Eid-ul-Adha in the Gulberg Chowrangi area of Karachi, were arrested by the police after a buyer exposed them for offering goats with artificial teeth for sale.

According to the police, the incident came to light when a person who came for the purchase checked their teeth and found them to be artificial. 

The buyer then took out the artificial teeth, filmed the video, and posted it on social media.

The plastic teeth had been placed to fill the incomplete teeth of an animal. The Samanabad police station took action and arrested the husband and wife who were selling goats with fake teeth.

Seven goats were also brought to the police station.

The police said that no complainant had previously come to the authorities regarding the sale of goats with artificial teeth.

The action was taken after receiving information about the sale of animals with artificial teeth and the video, they added.

The detained traders maintained that they had come to Karachi from Hyderabad to sell the animals, not knowing that the goats' teeth were artificial.
