Couple on motorbike falls to death from flyover in Lahore

A tragic road incident in Faisal Town claimed the lives of a husband and wife after they fell from the Akbar Chowk Flyover, police confirmed on Friday.
According to police, the deceased couple was returning to their residence on Ferozepur Road from Iqbal Town when the fatal accident occurred.
As they descended the flyover, 65-year-old Sheikh Afzal reportedly suffered a heart attack, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle, which crashed into the boundary wall.
The impact caused both him and his wife to fall off the flyover.

Sixty-year-old Abida Noor died on the spot, while her husband succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, officials said.
Meanwhile, in separate traffic accidents across Lahore, five people, including a woman, lost their lives.
At Shahkam Flyover, a motorcyclist died and two others were injured after being hit by a car.
In another incident at Canal Road near Shahkam Chowk, three individuals were killed and two sustained injuries in a car-motorcycle collision.
