Bin Qasim Police, Karachi have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in the theft of valuable equipment from Pakistan Steel Mills. All four individuals are reported to be police officers.

According to police officials, over 55 kilograms of copper were recovered from the possession of the arrested officers.

As per details, the arrested officers were deployed with the Shaheen Force. A case has been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ali Gul, Wajid Khan, Asif, and Zahoor.

It is worth noting that this is not the first such incident. In 2021, a significant quantity of brass and copper worth millions of rupees was reported stolen from the workshop of Pakistan Steel Mills.

Pakistan and Russia ink deal to revive steel mills

A case was registered at Bin Qasim Police Station based on a complaint filed by the workshop in-charge, Muhammad Aslam.

Subsequently, police conducted operations and arrested several suspects involved in the theft.

Investigations revealed that employees of the Steel Mills themselves were involved in stealing the organization's valuable materials.
