Karachi citizen deprived of Rs1.8m in daylight robbery in Karachi's Landhi

Armed robbers carried out a robbery in broad daylight in Landhi No. 6 (District Korangi), police and CCTV footage confirmed. The amount looted is claimed to be Rs 1.8 million from innocent citizens.

Police claimed that four unidentified armed men arrived on two motorcycles and robbed the victims after they had just withdrawn the cash from a bank.

The CCTV footage shows the robbers forcing the victims to get off their moving motorcycle, in panic and fear, the victims fell off the motorcycle and the robbers swiftly snatched the cash and sped away. 

The daring daylight robbery have raised concerns about public safety. Local residents were shocked that the suspects weren’t even afraid that there is Korangi police station nearby. 

Police have registered FIR and are on active search of the suspects. Authorities say they are relying on the CCTV footage to identify and track down the culprits, and have urged anyone with information to help unfold the case.
