A first information report (FIR) has been filed by the police against a deceased individual for alleged electricity theft in the Khudian Khas area of Kasur district.

According to sources, a police team conducted a raid at the residence of the deceased, disregarding the 'iddat' period observed by his widow.

During the operation, officers reportedly used offensive language towards the grieving widow.

Sub-Inspector Asif Jutt allegedly confiscated a mobile phone and Rs16,500 from a student who was documenting the police's actions at the widow's residence.

The student later expressed that the money was intended for his tuition fees, which the officers took from him.

Additionally, the police team is said to have directed inappropriate remarks towards local residents, with claims that Sub-Inspector Asif Jutt was intoxicated and insulted them.
